FH Upper AustriaResearch & Development

Development of a hybrid receiver for a Fresnel collector by implementing Spectral Splitting

Project Duration:
01.10.2018 - 30.09.2021

Funding Donor:
Government of Upper Austria

Funding Program:
Dissertationsprogramm der Fachhochschule OÖ 2018

Project Goal:
Emission-free and efficient provision of industrial process heat up to 200°C and electrical energy by a Fresnel collector

Synopsis:
The aim of this research project is to further develop the concept of Spectral Splitting in order to achieve a temperature of 200°C at the output of a CPVT system. Grey-box modelling will be applied for this developing task. The essential experimental characterization of a receiver prototype will be done in the laboratories of the FH Wels.
