Building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) is one of the future fields in photovoltaics, which combines energy technology and architecture into one element. The project focuses on additional national research in the field of BIPV, which is to be raised to an international level under the IEA-PVPS Task 15 in order to:

• accelerate the transition from prototypes and demonstrators to marketable products
• identify new business areas and business models
• identify sustainable aspects
• demonstrate the diverse potential of BIPV
• take advantage of common dissemination opportunities
