The implementation of solar cooling systems requires the right climatic conditions, expertise, market knowledge and access to the right components. In this project, the consortium refines the current "implementation standard" (flat collectors and single-stage absorption refrigeration) to concentrating collectors and multi-stage absorption refrigeration, thus creating a technological lead, which significantly improves the conditions for implementation. The target group is large-scale plants (500 kW cooling capacity) in climate zones with high solar radiation and cooling requirements (southern Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the southern USA). Networking partners from different industries are a prerequisite for achieving the project objectives.
