Result: Development of a bioinformatics-framework for image processing for the automated analysis of cellular macro- and nano-structures.
In the course of the project NanoDetect, a bioinformatics-framework for the automated analysis of cellular macro- and nano-structures was developed. In order to solve complex biomedical problems, new methods of image processing and machine learning are combined in this framework. Fluorescence microscopy, which is a key technology in biomedical research, played an important role in achieving this goal.
